1. We are using the 2025 BJCP  Cider Style Guidelines! We are ONLY accepting BJCP C1 A-E Traditional Ciders, C2 Strong Ciders A-D,  C3 Specialty Ciders A-C.   NO Perry!

2. Home Cider Makers from Michigan only are allowed to enter this year.  There will be a total of no more than 100 paid entries. All entries must be made by the registrant on a home system. Please do not submit entries under the names of significant others, insignificant others, siblings, offspring, distant relatives, estranged roommates, pets, fictional characters, imaginary friends or anyone else.

* Entries require two (2) plain, unlabeled/unmarked bottles or cans.  12 oz containers or smaller are required. Unmarked caps are required. Please print labels to drop off with your cider. These will be provided through the registration system.  Attach them with rubber bands, NO tape please.

* The entry fee is $15.00 per entry. This must be paid through PayPal through the registration app, Cash delivered with your bottles (at your own risk), or Venmo to @Cass_RiverHC

* The total number of contest entries will be capped at 100. Do not delay in submitting your entry. Once the cap is reached no additional entries will be accepted.

* Online registration be will open on Febuary5, 2026 through February 21, 2025, or until 100 entries are submitted, whichever occurs first. 

* All entries must be dropped off between February 7, 2026  through February 21, 2026. Shipped Entries must be received by February 19, 2026. Entries will not be accepted after that date. If mailing an entry, please include paperwork. 

* Drop off locations are:

All entries in the CRHC Michigan Cider Madness are judged by industry professionals and/or trained judges according to the standards of style, not in comparison to each another, with the exception of the Best of Show rounds.

A reminder too that we are looking for judges and stewards to help us. Judging will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at The Castle Museum of Saginaw County, Saginaw MI. Registration for judges and stewards will open February 5, 2026
